Fault

If you misunderstood me it’s not my fault,

For it’s you who didn't understand me.

I don’t want to be anyone else for,

I am what I am and I am happy with what I am,

If you expected something else from me, it’s your fault,

It’s that you saw someone else in me, who I really am not,

If you loved me for what I am not,

I should not be blamed for that.

For never did I tell or did you ask who I am,

Yes, I agree I offered you dreams,

But all those had a string attached to them.

That I’ll remain as me, for I don’t want to be someone else !!!
